The structure of the text of Quran has features that attracts the attention of scholars in any era. Nowadays, this subject matter has found an especial position in inter-disciplinary studies, particularly in religious and Quranic studies. The aim of this study is the comparative analysis of text cohesion elements in Nas Surah and its Persian translation based on Halliday and Hasan cohesion of text theory in the framework of text linguistics. We will analyze the text cohesion elements of Nas Surah in comparison with its Persian translation by Mehdi Elahi Qomshei, based on the theoretical framework of research and with the descriptive-analytic and statistical method. We have gathered the research data from Quran and reliable interpretations of Quran. Our findings show that, beside differences and similarities in using grammatical and lexical factors, both texts of Nas Surah and its Persian translation have lots of cohesion and most cohesion elements are lexical.
